Cams Community Club Relaunches with a Successful First Event at Cams Hall
Businesses across the Cams Estate came together for the eagerly anticipated relaunch of the Cams Community Club earlier this year.
Following the success of recent events such as Glanvilles Solicitors Macmillan Morning, The You Trust Launch Party, and the Cams Hall Coffee Event, it was clear there was a real appetite for a regular, relaxed yet professional networking forum.
The Cams Community Club
The newly revived Cams Community Club aims to create a strong community of like-minded professionals who value collaboration as a key driver for business growth.
Attendees at the first Cams Community Club hosted at Cams Hall
The event, held at Cams Hall, welcomed a fantastic turnout of businesses from across the estate. Over lunch and hot drinks, attendees had the chance to meet their neighbours, forge new connections, and discuss opportunities for future collaboration. The buzz of conversation and energy in the room made it clear that the Cams Estate community is thriving.
The relaunch has been made possible thanks to the efforts of Karen Hobbs from You Trust, Mikyla Bell from Glanvilles Solicitors, and Steve Capel from Camscoach, who have volunteered to coordinate the club’s activities.
At the first event, they were joined by David Hosier from Strand Harbour, organiser of the original Cams Club pre-Covid, who will continue to lend his support. Brenda Steele, Centre Manager at Cams Hall, was also in attendance to assist with estate-wide support.
What’s Next for the Cams Community Club?
Following the success of the first event, the Cams Community Club will now meet quarterly, on the third Thursday of the month, at different venues across the estate. Each event will continue the focus on building relationships, sharing ideas, and promoting collaboration between businesses.
Get Involved…
The next event is: Thursday 19th June 1230pm.
At: Core Logic, Heaton House, Cams Hall Estate, Fareham, Hampshire England, PO16 8AA
If you missed the first meeting, don’t worry – there are plenty more opportunities to get involved. Future invitations will be circulated by email, but if you would like to be added (or removed) from the distribution list, please contact Mikyla Bell at mikyla.bell@glanvilles.co.uk
This is a not for profit group, and so the fee will change per event depending on expenses cost for venue/food/drinks. Bookings managed via the Glanvilles Solicitors website to ensure a smooth and fair process.
Expand Your Network
To enhance networking opportunities, attendees’ names, companies, and email addresses will be shared among the group. Photographs from the events may also be used on professional social media platforms to showcase the vibrant community spirit at Cams Estate.
Volunteers Needed
The organisers are also keen to hear from anyone interested in volunteering to support the Club as it grows.
A huge thank you to everyone who attended and made the first meeting such a success.
We’re excited to see the Cams Community Club go from strength to strength and look forward to seeing even more businesses at the next event!
